Real Estate in the Netherlands

This is where the European nations, and specifically the Netherlands, seems to break with their North American Real Estate cousins to some extent. When it comes to foreign investment, there are so restrictions at all.
As with certain other places in the EU, the person wishing to buy a place in the Netherlands will find that there are many apartments for sale and rent as well as full homes for sale. Many of these are affordable, and some have even more than one story, but the person coning from a North American market should not be put off by one of the fundamental cultural changes—some of the available units in many places in Europe and particularly the Netherlands have shared toilet facilities.
